Founded in 1978, Mulberry Poets & Writers Association is the oldest community-based literary arts organization in Pennsylvania.
MPWA serves a wide population, from aspiring writers to published authors in all genres throughout Northeastern Pennsylvania and beyond. Seasons typically include open readings, workshops, guest writers and lecturers, annual summer and winter solstice events, and a poetry contest. MPWA also collaborates with numerous arts and community organizations, often resulting in exhibitions and publication.
